Megan Gotlieb-Horowitz, MS, OTR/L, CHT

is a Certified Hand Therapist and our new Director at Hands-On Rehab. Megan graduated from the NYU Occupational Therapy program in 2009, and has since worked with the top surgeons in New York City, designing innovative treatment plans and splinting techniques to complement their exceptional skill. She has extensive experience in wound care, sports medicine and rehabilitation, as well as RSI and ergonomic assessment. She is also a Certified Reiki practitioner, and an active member of the American Society of Hand Therapists and the Hand Therapy Certification Commission.

Lisa Dominick, MS, OTR/L, CHT

Lisa is a board certified Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand therapist specializing in the area of musculoskeletal dysfunction of the hand and upper extremity. Lisa began her career as an Occupational Therapist in 1997, working with patients who sustained neurological and orthopedic injuries. She coordinated a research project in 2003 at Helen Hayes Hospital, in conjunction with Burke and M.I.T., utilizing their Manus Robot to study recovery of arm movement with robot assisted therapy. This experience fueled her passion for specializing in hand therapy and she became a Certified Hand Therapist in 2006. Currenlty, she collaborates with highly specialized orthopedic and plastic hand surgeons to promote optimal recovery after injury in an outpatient setting. She specializes in orthotic fabrication, wound care, and skilled manual techniques to improve recovery. She has taken numerous courses (including ART and IASTM) and is a passionate life-long learner. Lisa also believes in giving back to the profession by teaching. She is currently an Adjunct Professor at Mercy College, Dobbs Ferry where she teaches Kinesiology and Applied Physics. Her interests include additional study in Mindfulness techniques that allow her to foster empathy and connection during the therapeutic process.


Sally Poole, MA, OT, CHT

is a Certified Hand Therapist with over 30 years of experience treating hand and upper limb injuries and disabilities. She is a nationally recognized clinician, educator and author. Sally is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor in New York University’s Department of Occupational Therapy and is completing an occupational therapy clinical doctorate at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. She specializes in the treatment of multi-trauma patients.


Jennifer Schneider, OTR, CHT, CLT

is a Certified Hand Therapist with 17 years experience in hand clinics on both the east and west coasts. She has extensive experience in CTD, RSI, and postural disorders, as well as pediatrics, burn rehabilitation, wound healing, and scar management. She is a certified ART (Active Release Techniques) provider for upper extremity soft tissue management and also certified in lymphoedema management.


Michele Comen MA, OTR, CHT

is a Certified Hand Therapist with over 15 years experience in treating hand and upper-extremity injuries. She has expertise in splinting, myofascial release, alternative/Eastern therapy, and kinesiotaping for pain management and upper extremity strengthening. Michele has been published in the Journal of Hand Therapy and regularly conducts ergonomic evaluations for the prevention of repetitive strains.
